Applicaton Procedures
All applications to Chai Daycare need to be submitted in order to begin the admissions process. Space is limited and available on a first come first serve basis.
Applications are accepted for children who will be 2 months - 2 years by the time they enter daycare.
Please call 718.399.3979 to learn more about our daycare and the admissions process.
After we have received your application, we will contact you to schedule a playdate with your child. Families are notified in writing of admission status.

There are three phases to the admissions prosess.
The first phase involves a tour with the director of our pre-school. Your child does not accompany you at this time. We will discuss our daycare and address any concerns you have relative to your childs care and experience.
The second phase requires you to fill out an application if you have not already done so. We will then contact you regarding setting up an appointment for your child to participate in a mini class and interact with the children.
The third phase is when families are notified of admission status and acceptance. Enrollment forms are then sent out.
Each step is designed for you to become better acquainted with our program. This also gives our staff an opportunity to get to know your child.
In order to provide you with the individualized attention we are known for, our openings are limited, we suggest that you arrange for a visit soon so your application can be processed at the earliest date.
